No More ‘Gimmes’
If you want to play with the big boys and girls, you must start holing more and all putts. You can no longer depend on your playing competitors to give you the short ones. At some point they won’t. And if you plan to play at any level of competitiveness, there is no such thing as a “gimme” putt.
Learning to hole putts from 3-5 feet, under simulated pressure conditions at this point of your skill development, will serve you well no matter what your long-term goals as a golfer may be.
