BREAKING 90
Time To Exam Your Statistics
You’re probably devoting more time to practice now. But is it the correct practice?
Golfer who consistently break 90 tend to start keeping basic statistics of their rounds, along with their scores. Simple statistics such as fairways hit, greens hit in regulation, and total number of putts, arguably are more important than your score at this stage of your development as a golfer.

As the saying goes, “one shot at a time,” and statistics break down each shot for its own individual value. The better your statistics, the more probability your score improves.
After 3-5 rounds keeping these basic statistics, the strengths of your game are now more easily recognizable. Keep those strengths intact. But spend more time at your practice sessions focusing upon the stats that are increasing your score.
If you’re not hitting enough greens, practice on the rang doing so, not on your swing mechanics. If you are executing more than two putts per hole, you know what to do the next time you practice.
