Did you notice a while back I said “current bunch?”
That’s right, there’s more: construction on a fifth full-length course on property previously known as the Sheep Ranch — home to a free-form collection of Doak-shaped greens that I played several times — is underway, with Crenshaw and Coore again at the design helm and by far the entire property’s finest green site, a spectacular cliffside spot known as Five-Mile Point, to work with. It’s slated to open by summer 2020.
