- Forward swing: allow the club head to fall naturally – your goal at impact is to get the club head back under your hands at impact.
- Allow the club head to slide under the ball
- Rotate your chest and hips as the left arm softens and folds.
- Your hands and the grip end of the club travel over to your forward hip (Photos 7 and 8)

Low Shot
- Use a pitching wedge for lower trajectory; for more roll use a 7 or 8 iron (Photo 9)
- Place ball back of center in stance (Photo 10)
- Handle still points just forward of belly button
- Keep the finish low with the arms extended (Photo 11)

If you use a sand wedge for a lower shot, be sure it has the least amount of loft. If you have multiple wedges, no matter what the back of your left wrist should stay flat as you finish low.
