REMEMBER THE SHORT GAME AND PUTTING
Abraham: You don’t need a lot of power to be good at the short game. Having a well-tuned short game will help you shoot lower scores. It’s a must for good golf at any ages and any level. It’s always good to be a good putter, especially as we age. You may not hit 300-yard drives, but you can make just as many three-foot putts as the pros and you can also learn to lag putts close to the hole.
Goetze-Ackerman: If scoring well is important, practice your short game. It can save a lot of shots in a round.
Roy: Short game, short game , short game. You don’t need a Tour pro’s strength and flexibility to be proficient around the greens. It’s best and quickest way to lower scores.
