LEADER IN THE (DIGITAL) CLUBHOUSE
According to V-1 Sports CEO Chris McGinley, more than 5,000 top teachers have accounts on the V1 Golf platform, with more than three million video lessons under their belts to date. They are the life blood of the system, helping McGinley and his code writers constantly improve the products.
“Golf instruction and how instructors teach continues to evolve,” McGinley told me at the 2018 PGA Merchandise Show. “By asking the right questions including where and how, and listening closely to our V1 teaching professionals, our job is to provide the right tools and a pathway to success.”
The V1 video platform offers multiple options for teaching in a studio, on the range or both utilizing V1’s award winning Pro HD desktop and Pro App mobile software.
A fan of video instruction from way back, Patri was an early V1 adherent, signing on to their premium package that includes video instruction, branding, integrated and marketing in Complete, Studio or Mobile options. The V1 team helped him a deep reservoir of studio-produced, one-to-four-minute-long lessons and drills covering every element of the golf swing, stroke and strategy imaginable.
“The system is seamless; you video the swing with the app, upload it, the instructor gets an e-mail link to the video online,” McGinley said. “When he does the analysis, you get an e-mail back.” In fact, high quality digital lessons can be delivered via email, text, and cloud-based locker.
What really makes the process a win for teacher and student is how seamlessly tips and drills are integrated into lessons — with a large range of professional model swings available to augment analysis.
