Golf News

Dunedin, FL – Dunedin Golf Club, the historic Donald Ross-designed course owned by the city of Dunedin (just north of Tampa), has completed a $6 million course restoration. The course has been brought back to its Golden Age of Architecture roots through the guidance of Kris Spence, a leading Donald Ross expert.

The course was built in 1926 and opened for play on January 1, 1927, under Dunedin Isles Golf Club. At the time, Ross referred to it as “his masterpiece” and attributed it to its ideal combination of rolling hills, waterways, and other natural hazards that made it possible to achieve his idea of course perfection. In 1939, the city of Dunedin took ownership of the course, and in 2024, it took over the management operations.

In 1944, the PGA of America moved its headquarters here from Chicago and renamed the course PGA National Golf Club – leasing it from the city. Eventually, the PGA moved out, but the site hosted 18 consecutive Senior PGA Championships – as well as the original PGA Merchandise Show in 1954.

Over the years, several renovations took the course further away from what Ross had created. This included the green complexes shrinking 35-to-50 percent, taking away from the strategy Ross intended. In 2014, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Now, thanks to this latest and meticulous restoration of the green complexes, bunkers, fairways, and tees, every golfer can experience the course as Ross intended – right down to the actual greens Ross originally created.

Hole 8 before/after

“At Dunedin, the most pleasant surprise was that I could see the old green extending out beneath those renovations and was able to measure them and compare them to his original plans and notes, and I quickly realized that the original greens had never been destroyed,” says Spence. “They were just buried under this material, so the opportunity to remove the material, excavate and expose the original greens, and restore them was possible. It’s fairly rare that they hadn’t bulldozed them away. There’s no question that by the number of bunkers and the contouring we found in the greens, Ross was clearly given a mandate or a directive to build a top-shelf championship layout on that property.”

Spence says the greens’ original contours and elevation changes are back for today’s golfers to experience firsthand. “They’re as good as any out there with great variety,” he says. “There are some subtle greens on some of the longer holes, and some with a lot more movement, tilt, and complexity to them on some of the shorter holes. It’s what we’re used to seeing out of Ross when he was really on point. In hindsight, it was a blessing that they just buried the greens. It was sort of an archeological dig to go down and find the surface of the old greens and peel off the newer material like we’re peeling the rind off an orange – to reveal that original green. Once we did, we could see the original greens that had been buried for 75 years.”

“Players are going to experience the greens and bunkers how he envisioned it,” continued Spence. “There’s some difficulty and depth to it all, and the bunkers are very challenging. That’s the unique thing about Ross: He brought the style of golf to this country, which he grew up experiencing in Scotland. There are a lot of different shots golfers won’t experience on other courses. The little bump and runs on the ground and the low approaches into the greens you experience in Scotland, you can now experience at Dunedin.”

The response from golfers has been nothing short of spectacular. According to Blair Kline, the course’s General Manager of Golf Operations, a lot of that is because of authenticity. “If Ross crawled out of his grave today and saw how far the ball goes and how fast the greens are compared to his era, I do not believe he would design the same course today that he designed in 1926,” says Kline. “Now we have the course that we believe he would design. The routing is still the same; some bunkers changed locations to account for driving distance, and the greens are incredible. We recaptured all the pin placements, too.”

Hole 11

Dunedin Golf Club is now widely considered one of Florida’s top municipal courses, along with the Winter Park Golf Course in Orlando and The Park at West Palm Beach. Rates for 18 holes range from $85 to $130, depending on the season, and there are discounted green fees for local residents.

“It’s been an overwhelming success, said Kline. “People are going out of their way to come here and play it. From that respect, it is helping to put Dunedin in front of some people who may not be aware of this community and how great it is. Our rates are very competitive compared to many of the top courses and destination golf resorts in the region, and some of them have already started sending us golfers.”

About Dunedin Golf Club

Designed by world-renowned golf course architect Donald Ross, and owned by the city of Dunedin, located just north of Tampa, Florida, the Dunedin Golf Club opened on January 1, 1927. In 1939, the city of Dunedin first took ownership of the golf course. From 1945 through 1962, it was the home to the PGA of America. During that time, the club hosted 18 Senior Tour Championships, marking the beginning of the Senior PGA Tour. Back then, the PGA and PGA Tour of today were the same corporation. It was also where the PGA Merchandise Show started in 1954. Many golf legends have visited Dunedin Golf Club, including Bobby Jones, Gene Sarazan, Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, Louise Suggs, Babe Didrikson, and Byron Nelson. In 2024, the facility underwent a complete restoration by architect Kris Spence to return the course to its original Donald Ross design. It has been restored to nearly the same as when Ross first drew it up. Today, Dunedin Golf Club is one of the top clubs in the Tampa area.

AUSTIN, TEXAS  —  Dave Pelz, one of golf’s most influential instructors and innovators, passed away on March 23, 2025, at his home in Dripping Springs, Texas. A former NASA scientist turned golf researcher, Pelz revolutionized how the game is taught, played, and understood, particularly in the critical areas of putting and the short game.

Pelz was among the first to scientifically study golf performance and identify the short game as the primary factor in scoring success. His research led to the discovery that nearly 80% of shots lost to par occur within 100 yards of the hole. This groundbreaking insight became the foundation for his teachings, shifting the focus of golf instruction toward more wedge play and putting.

THE PRO’S PRO
Pelz’s work changed how professionals prepared for competition. His expertise in wedge play helped Phil Mickelson refine his short game, leading to multiple major victories. Other notable players he worked with were Tom Kite, Lee Janzen, D.A. Weibring, Beth Daniel, Steve Elkington, Vijay Singh, Jane Geddes, Payne Stewart, Mike Weir, Patrick Reed, and many, many others. His students collectively won more than 20 major championships.

Born in Indiana and raised in Kentucky, Pelz took up golf early and earned a four-year golf scholarship to Indiana University, where he studied physics and thought he would prepare to play pro golf. However, as he wrote later, “I kept being beaten by other Big Ten golfers… especially a kid from Ohio State named Nicklaus.” He then spent 14 years at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center conducting experiments on the atmosphere of the earth and other planets. But his passion for golf proved too strong and in 1975 he left NASA to focus on analyzing the game, using his scientific background to develop a data-driven approach unlike anything else at the time. His research and teaching made him known on the Tour as “Professor Putt.”

TIRELESS INNOVATOR
Pelz’s creativity led to numerous inventions and training aids, which continue to be used by golfers worldwide. His Pelz Teacher Putter helped golfers develop a more consistent and repeatable stroke, while the Dave Pelz Putting Tutor became a staple for tour players looking to improve their alignment and roll. In all, he was granted 20 patents related to golf equipment and training.

One of his most significant contributions was the “3X4 Wedge System,” which transformed the way golfers controlled the distance of their wedges improving accuracy and scoring efficiency.

Beyond coaching elite professionals, Pelz was deeply committed to helping everyday golfers. Since the mid-1980s, the Dave Pelz Scoring Game Schools have taught thousands of amateurs throughout the U.S. and around the world.

As an author, he reached millions more with best-selling books such as Putt Like the Pros, Dave Pelz’s Short Game Bible, and Dave Pelz’s Putting Bible. He was on the instruction staff at Golf Magazine for more than 35 years, contributing hundreds of articles. And for 15 years, he hosted The Dave Pelz Scoring Game Show on the Golf Channel.

After scientifically determining the best measures of putting skill, in 1996 Pelz founded the World Putting Championship allowing any pro or amateur to compete for the title of best putter on earth.

NO DREAM WAS TOO BIG FOR PELZ
At his home in Texas, Pelz built his dream, a backyard golf laboratory featuring replicas of famous holes such as Augusta National’s 12th and TPC Sawgrass’s island 17th. This coaching and testing ground allowed him and his Pelz Institute research team to carry on refining his theories and training techniques even in the final weeks of his life. His dedication to research and innovation leaves a permanent mark on golf and continues to shape how players and coaches think about the scoring game.

Dave Pelz’s legacy is one of passion, precision, and relentless innovation. His impact on the game will continue to be felt for generations as golfers around the world apply his teachings to improve their scoring and strategy. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn, their five children, nine grandchildren, and a grateful golf community.

Those who wish to share their thoughts or memories are invited to a special tribute page at www.pelzgolf.com/tribute/.

NOTABLE QUOTES AND TRIBUTES

Dave Pelz was one of the kindest, smartest and most thoughtful people I have ever met! He helped me with my golf in many ways but most of all I treasured his friendship! Dave’s contribution to golf will be appreciated and respected for years to come, he was a giant in the game!

D.A. Weibring

——

10 years ago, I was 24 years old, and I asked Dave Pelz if he would work with me and coach me. To help me with my short-game and my putting. But he became and was so much more to Justine and I than a coach.

He taught me how to think, how to listen, and he brought so much life to my game. Dave Pelz (DP) was and is the best coach I ever had. To say that he will be missed would be such an understatement. His contributions to the game of golf will outlive my lifetime, and I hope one day to have contributed as much good in the world and in the game as he did. He pushed me to think harder, think higher of myself, and be a better person regardless of any circumstance I was faced with. He cared about the game, like I care about the game. When so many people are caught up in money, at the end of the day- the last time I saw him…just three weeks ago, we were talking and just trying to figure out what would be best for the game of golf. We shared many views about the game, and the massive divide the game of golf has faced and how to put it back together.

He and his wife, JoAnn, (JP), were two people Justine and I always looked up to the most and two people we could always count on. In golf and in life.

I have never forgotten anything he ever said to me, because sure enough-as soon as I would- Justine would be quick to remind me what Pelz said, and although I cannot share all of the lessons he taught me, I can share with you the person he was to me, and the coach he was to me and sadly I wish we could start all over again because he made learning fun, experimenting was fun. He never doubted a theory or an idea I had, he taught me to test it. He never doubted my ability, he challenged it. And more than anything, he and JP loved Justine and I the way a mom or dad loves to see their children achieve a dream, a goal, and wanted the best for us, and it was so real and genuine. I wish he were still here because I would tell him how much he meant to me in my life and in my game, and that I am forever fortunate and grateful to have been a part of his life, to know him and his family, to love them and care about them, and for it to be reciprocated in a way I never expected.

I’ll always appreciate Dave’s mind, and how well he used it to create, invent, research, to write, to build, it taught me so much more than golf to spend time with him. He was relentless in his pursuit of achieving greatness in the game of golf. Through science, research, experiments- everything he ever taught me holds strong and holds true, and it always will, because Dave didn’t back anything he wasn’t 100 percent sure of. He didn’t sway with the wind, he was the wind. Every time I ever met with him, he blew me away, because his presence, his sincere nature coupled with a kind sense of humor, and his drive made for the best coach I could have ever asked for.

Dave’s life should be celebrated, and never forgotten. Our love and hearts go out to JoAnn Pelz who Dave used to always lovingly and affectionately call JP. JP was and is his equal in every way, and you couldn’t have asked for a better match than JP and DP.

Thank you for the memories, thank you for your support, and thank you for believing in me. You changed my life. I love you DP. We love you and you will forever be in our hearts and minds.

Your friend,

Patrick Reed

I was saddened to hear about the passing of my friend, Dave Pelz. Dave made an indelible mark on the game of golf. He was an incredibly kind and gentle man with a generous spirit. The way he used his scientific brilliance to influence what the rest of us could accomplish through the game of golf will always be remembered.

Kris Tschetter, LPGA

——

We lost one of golfing giants today- both literally & figuratively..

Dave will be remembered & celebrated for his pioneer contributions to putting & short game.

He was the first that put science & technology in the forefront that is commonplace in today’s game.

Dave was a man for everyone & was loved by all..

DP was the best.

Steve Elkington

——

Dave Pelz was an icon in the world of golf instruction. His scientific background allowed him to experiment, test and analyse all areas of the game, which through his books, magazine articles, seminars and schools enabled him to pass on his information to the golfing world. Dave was a very modest kind man who loved the game, and had the ear of many of the world’s great players. His work with Tom Kite on the 3 wedge theory and its benefits was legendary and one of the many examples of his huge contribution to the game! Phil Mickelson’s career was enhanced greatly because of his association with Dave! He will be sorely missed and he leaves a wonderful legacy that all of us in the golf industry will benefit from for years to come.

So sad to hear the news – remember the day well that Dave, Jim McLean and myself did the first instruction show on the Golf Channel.

I hope this is not too long, but can’t quote even a small percentage of his amazing achievements!

Condolences once again!

David Leadbetter

——

A true friend’s memory will last in my heart forever. Dave helped so many. He will be missed.

Tom Jenkins

——

I’m so sorry to hear of Dave’s passing. He was a tremendous, giving and huge hearted man. We had so much fun together, especially when he caddied for Jack Lemmon all those years at the AT&T. We laughed and laughed all week!

Please accept our condolences. 🙏🏼

Here’s how Padraig Harrington is hitting further at 52 than he was at 42

I don’t know about you, but my golf swing isn’t what it used to be. While my brain for the game has been getting sharper, my joints and muscles don’t live up to those improvements. This hasn’t been the trend of Padraig Harrington however, who emphasizes that at 52, he has added significantly more distance to his shots than he had at 42. He’s bucking the trend the vast majority of golfers see, and his results in recent tournaments speak for themselves.

Here’s what he had to say in a recent interview:

“I suppose what most people are talking about is that I’m hitting the ball further than I’ve ever hit it. My speed has gone up, quite substantially, on the golf course now. I’m in the low-to-mid 180s whereas a few years ago, I’d be doing well to get mid 170s. It’s a substantial gain”

And the gains he speaks about have translated to excellent tournament results. From 2021-2023, Padraig won 6 of the tournaments he entered, some of his best results in years. When asked about where the uptick in form came from, he had a clear answer:

“I’m always looking for an edge – it’s all about the small increments. So I saw advertising for VKTRY Insoles and bought them, and immediately set some personal records for myself. It’s not just the fact I’ve set my highest ball speed at 196 mph when I’m on the range – it’s a clear and consistent improvement throughout the rounds of golf.

VKTRY Insoles are a performance-based insole, using a stiff carbon fiber plate to store kinetic energy normally wasted in the ground. These insoles have been shown to increase drive distance by up to ten yards, and Padraig uses them to keep up with younger players on the tour.

“I still love competing with the young guys, and I’m hitting well above what would be considered tour speed now – you know, I don’t give anything up.”

Speed is important – but it’s not the only component to his success of course. Padraig has also noted that he had terrible issues recovering after a day of play, and since changing his insoles, he feels a huge amount stronger and fresher.

“I used to have terrible problems. I’d sit down, maybe for half an hour afterwards and the minute I’d stand up, I could hardly move. All my joints would be locked up. Since

wearing the insoles, I’m so much better after the rounds. So much less pain, so much less stress on me. They give you that energy back, so you’re not putting so much in – it’s really helped with the injuries and the recovery.”

Over the course of a day’s play golfers exert thousands of pounds of force through their heels, toes and ankles. While in the past, a soft insert might have been recommended, golfers like Padraig are choosing a firm platform of support instead.

We understood as kids that having something soft was better, because it might make your shoes comfortable – but we know something different now. You need that pressure coming back.

It’s clear from listening to Padraig where his priorities now lie as he continues to play at the highest level in his 50s. So few golfers continue to play at such a high level consistently, especially when they’re more than thirty-years into their careers. All we know is that he’ll be taking VKTRY Insoles on the tour for many years to come.

Three-putts and unnecessary two-putts can quickly ruin your golf score. The best defense against them is good distance control. However, what sounds simple usually requires extensive practice. Achieving precise distance control often requires developing a “feel” that can only be internalized through repetition. Today, I want to introduce you to a technique that allows you to gain this feel in just a few minutes.

Putting – We’re Worse Than We Think

Even a tour professional only holes half of their putts from a distance of 8ft. For a player with an 18 handicap, the probability of success from that distance drops to just 27%. Therefore, a safety-first approach should be taken on longer putts, ensuring that the ball can be holed in the next stroke.

Feel is the Solution, but It’s Difficult

To achieve this consistency, good distance control is essential. Being able to consistently get the ball close to the hole can prevent costly three-putts and occasionally lead to holing out on the first putt. However, this requires the ability to play the exact distance on demand, relying on one’s “swing feel.” Unfortunately, this feeling only develops after many repetitions. The reality is that many golfers find putting practice boring and prefer to spend their time on the driving range. Therefore, you can’t always rely on this feeling.

The Mind Plays a Role – Especially on “Simple” Shots

Moreover, this feeling can quickly waver under pressure. What worked in practice may not work in the actual game. Simple shots, such as a 3ft putt, can create so much mental pressure that you might mess up the stroke – because these putts are “supposed to be easy.”

Sound Patterns as a Solution?

Audio Golf offers a completely new solution. Instead of boring putting drills, you are provided with specific sound patterns for the most important distances to the hole. When you think of these patterns during your stroke, you automatically play the corresponding distance for which the pattern was made. To simplify, Audio Golf’s inventor, Professor Chia Chou of the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, compares his technique to running and dancing. Here, the body moves unconsciously in sync with the music. With their sounds, the same happens, but tailored to the desired swing movement. To explore the scientific principles, delve into the concept of “sonification.”

The advantage of this technique is that distance control becomes much more tangible. Instead of painstakingly training the feeling, you can now rely on different sound patterns. After just a few repetitions, if your swing movement is in sync with the sound, the rhythm, length of the backswing, and tempo to the ball are all correct, and the ball consistently covers the right distance. Additionally, the sound blocks out all other thoughts at the crucial moment, so that neither frantic technical considerations nor thoughts of fear occur.

Improve Your Putting Instantly

One example to try is the “ya-la-bam” sound. During your backswing, think “ya-la” to control its length. Then, during the swing toward the ball, think “bam” to control its speed. The ratio of “ya-la” to “bam” determines the putt’s rhythm, typically a 2:1 ratio commonly used by tour players. The backswing duration is twice as long as the time it takes to strike the ball. You can get the idea by watching this video: https://www.instagram.com/reel/CrQkD9fujD5/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

If you attempt this sound without aiming, you’ll notice your balls consistently stop at a certain distance, typically around 12 to 15 feet for most golfers. And that’s after just a few minutes, without much practice.

Free ya-la-bam Guide

On the Audio Golf website,

you can find a free guide that describes

in detail how to use the “ya-la-bam” sound:

www.audiogolf.de/ya-la-bam .

Does This Sound Familiar?

Even though this technique may sound a bit crazy at first, some may feel they already know it. I’m referring to tricks like “Coca-Cola,” “One Thousand and One,” or “1-2-3-1,” which are also thought during the swing movement. However, it’s essential to differentiate here because these methods solely aim to achieve a fixed swing rhythm. In contrast to Audio Golf, these methods do not offer differentiated tempo control and are inflexible. Different golfers have to adjust to one rhythm, and the length of the backswing still has to be controlled by themselves.

Golf Tips Magazine – Editor Insight:

“Having closely followed Audio Golf since the PGA Show in Orlando 2019, I’ve had the privilege to witness its ongoing evolution firsthand. I’m genuinely impressed by the method’s advancements and the dedicated team behind it. Particularly noteworthy is the increasing endorsement from esteemed figures in the golf community such as Brad Faxon and top 100 teachers. For testimonials and deeper insights into their technique, explore their Instagram profile: @audio.golf. It has proven to be a very effective tool for game improvement”….Ted Odorico

Conclusion

Good putting can save you a lot of strokes. However, if you don’t feel like practicing for hours, you should definitely take a look at Audio Golf. You will achieve consistent distance control in no time and avoid unnecessary two- and three-putts.

Additionally, Audio Golf is not only beneficial for putting but also offers many different sound patterns for all areas of the game. Be sure to check out the free guide on the Audio Golf website: www.audiogolf.de/ya-la-bam.

With a portfolio that includes highly-acclaimed courses at Ladera and Lake Merced – which won awards in 2023 for Best New Private and Best Transformation, respectively – in addition to Los Angeles CC (North), Ohoopee Match Club, PGA Frisco (East), and many others, HGCD brings a proven track record to North America’s No. 1 golf resort.
“The focus of this project is to further enhance the golf experience at Pebble Beach Resorts,” added David Stivers, CEO of Pebble Beach Company. “Partnering with Gil, Jim, and their team gives us the utmost confidence that Spanish Bay will be a ‘must play’ on par with its fellow courses.”
Also included in the project scope is a reconstruction of the iconic Spanish Bay boardwalk, which had been damaged in recent storms. The boardwalk provides public coastal access and majestic views between the golf course and beach. That project will begin in the Spring of 2025.

If there is one instructor on the planet who is on golfers’ wish lists, odds are it is Claude Harmon III.

After all, he helped winners of nine majors and 66 professional titles hone their skills.  We’re talking about Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, Bubba Watson, Rickie Fowler, Ernie Els, Adam Scott, Darren Clarke and Trevor Immelman.

Now Harmon III is in the news in another way, one that’s of the high-altitude nature.

The son of Butch Harmon and grandson of Claude Harmon, both dominant instructors of their generations, Harmon III has formed a partnership with Magellan Jets, the leading private aviation company.

Assuming the title of Head Golf Professional for Magellan Jets, Harmon III will host unique golf experiences (golf lessons included) and develop playing-tips content exclusive to the company’s Private Clients, display the Magellan Jets logo on his golf shirt and be featured in marketing campaigns.

Harmon III has flown privately with Magellan Jets which is the foundation of the partnership.

“When I fly domestically and overseas to help Tour players and others improve their games, it’s essential my private air travel is seamlessly managed,” said Harmon III.  “Magellan’s reliability, comfort and safety-first orientation gives me peace of mind, as does its access to a wide range of planes where and when they’re needed, even last minute.”

“Magellan Jets is well known for personalizing journeys, and that’s what Claude and our Private Clients love,” said Joshua Marc Hebert, Founder and CEO of Magellan Jets.  “His brand ambassadorship is authentic, and we share the belief of going the extra mile for our respective Clients.”

Back to Harmon III.  His blend of new-age and traditional teaching methodologies promote repeatable swings and precise course management for elite, intermediate and novice players.  Ranked No. 5 among Golf Digest‘s 2024-2025 Best Teachers in America and a perennial GOLF Magazine Top 100 Instructor, he is based at The Floridian in South, Florida, regularly contributes to Sky Sports Golf and hosts the popular Son of a Butch podcast.

Back to Magellan Jets:  The addition of Harmon III follows the company’s recent selection as the “Official Private Aviation Provider” of 4Aces Golf Club, captained by two-time major champion Dustin Johnson, on the LIV Golf League.  Many professional golfers on major Tours worldwide have purchased Magellan Jets’ Jet Cards and flown Charter with the company.

Golf is on a high.  Harmon and Magellan Jets are sky high.

TRUE linkswear (TRUE), creators of golf’s most naturally comfortable, performance-focused footwear, has undergone a major expansion of its national sales team and distribution network, and is targeting exponential green grass and big box sales over the next five years.

To lead the company’s retail-channel build-out, TRUE hired Washington native J.D. Rastovski as National Sales Director. Previously, Rastovski was the Pacific Northwest Territory Sales Leader for Parsons Extreme Golf (PXG). Prior to that, he enjoyed a two-year stint with TRUE as Western U.S. Regional Sales Manager. Rastovski is joined by Strategic Sales Manager Sean Finucan, who had successful tenues with PXG and Nike, and Green Grass Sales Manager T.J. Bordeaux, a leading sales rep with johnnie-O for nearly six years.

“Through our initial direct-to-consumer business model we’ve been able to grow our global brand awareness significantly and have created a legion of TRUE brand evangelists who swear by our golf shoes,” says TRUE President Jason Moore. “With the growth of the game globally over the past two years, the timing is optimal for us to lean heavily into retail sales in traditional locations.”

TRUE will add 16 outside sales reps for the balance of 2022 and is also building an in-house sales team to handle an ever-growing volume of in-bound sales. Globally, it’s partnered with a transactional platform that facilitates online sales by converting currencies from dozens of countries. The TRUE sales team will monitor and evaluate direct-to-consumer international sales to best determine the structure of its future global sales and distribution network.

“The demand for TRUE is out there and I’m excited to lead the expansion of national and global retail sales,” says Rastovski. “We’re even more excited to give golfers everywhere the choice to play the game in the industry’s most comfortable shoe.”

Over the past eight months, TRUE has dropped several new models, including the All Day Rip Stop, Lux Sport and OG Sport, and has introduced new colorways and color pops of its wildly popular models like the Original 1.2, OG Feel and All Day Knit II.

Retailing at the TRUE website for $155 (www.truelinkswear.com), the OG Feel Reflect Camo Collection models are available in sizes ranging from seven to 15. They weigh a mere 10.3 ounces, making them one of the lightest golf shoes on the market. The extra-wide toe box is also ideal for walkers or golfers who appreciate extra space for their toes to spread out.

TRUE is quick to point out at its website that limited-edition drops are just that – limited. These constrained supply product drops tend to sell fast given the brand’s cult following online and via social media. And with the rise in popularity of not only golf but walking the golf course, all TRUE OG Feel models have been selling quickly, according to Brandon Wallach, TRUE’s longtime VP of Marketing.

And in keeping with bolstering its “OG” lines, TRUE also added three new colorways to its most iconic model, the Original 1.2. #Enjoythewalk golfer can now choose from Classic Black, Nine Iron Grey and Moonbeam in addition to Pure White and White / Black Saddle.
