BUSHNELL PRO XE
The slide-rule and coding eggheads at Bushnell have been at it again, adding a “slope” algorithm to their new laser rangefinder that takes into account the most updated ball flight measurements to give a much sharper angle of descent over its predecessor. The “Slope with Elements” system is hyper-precise, even factoring in temperature and barometric pressure when calculating the “play as” distance. I wouldn’t be surprised if next year it will consider how many calories you consumed at the turn! “Bite” technology means it will magnetize to your cart, and the PRO XE can pick up a flag from over 500 yards away (a strong five-iron for me). Paired with the revamped Bushnell Golf App, you can measure distance to bunkers, get weather conditions and even receive text messages (not recommended – stay focused!). Pricey, but this is the Cadillac of rangefinders.
